Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup dried parsley
  • 1/4 cup dried minced onion
  • 1/4 cup dried basil
  • 1 (1 1/2-pound) salmon fillet, cut into 4 equal pieces
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil, plus more, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -Mix the garlic powder, the salt, the parsley, the onions, and the basil together.

Step 2 -Rub each piece of the salmon fillets with 4 tablespoons of the olive oil and sprinkle liberally with the seasoning mixture.

Step 3 -Heat the grill to medium heat.

Step 4 -Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side up. Cover and grill over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes per side, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.

Step 5 -Serve hot!
