Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast, boneless, skinless, and halved
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Season the chicken halves with a generous amount of salt and pepper, or to taste.

Step 3 –Heat the oil in a non-stick, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 4 –Place the chicken in the skillet and cook until golden, about 4 minutes on each side.

Step 5 –Remove the skillet from the stovetop and place it in the oven, baking uncovered until the internal temperature of the meat reads 165 degrees F, about 10 minutes.

Step 6 –Serve immediately!
