Ingredients
- 2 (8-ounce) cans crescent rolls
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 (21-ounce) can apple pie filling
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce, store-bought or homemade
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –Unroll the crescent rolls and separate them into their respective 16 perforated triangles.
Step 3 –In a bowl, add the cream cheese, the sugar, and the vanilla and beat until fluffy.
Step 4 –On a pizza pan or pizza stone, arrange the crescent roll triangles to form a ring, keeping the long, pointed ends facing outward and overlapping the inside, wider edges. A circular space should form in the middle of the pan, about 6 inches wide.
Step 5 –Spread the apple pie filling on top of the crescent roll dough ring.
Step 6 –Drizzle the caramel sauce on top of the apple pie filling.
Step 7 –Spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the caramel sauce.
Step 8 –Fold the pointed ends of the crescent roll dough over the filling and pinch to seal them against the wider edges of the dough.
Step 9 –Bake until golden-brown, about 18-20 minutes.
Step 10 –Transfer the ring from the oven and allow it to cool, about 5-10 minutes.
Step 11 –In a small bowl, add the milk and the powdered sugar and mix until a smooth glaze forms.
Step 12 –Drizzle the glaze over the ring.
