Ingredients
- 2 (1-inch-thick) steaks, ribeye, sirloin, or striploin
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon salted butter, melted
- steak seasoning, to taste
- 2 tablespoons garlic herb butter, optional
Directions
Step 1 –Transfer the steaks out of the fridge for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
Step 2 –Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
Step 3 –Rub the steaks on both sides with olive oil and butter.
Step 4 –Generously season the steaks on both sides with the steak seasoning.
Step 5 –Add the steaks to the air fryer basket and cook, flipping after 4 minutes, until the steaks reach the desired doneness and a minimum internal temperature of 135 degrees F, about 8-12 minutes.
Step 6 –Remove the steak from the air fryer and transfer it to a plate.
Step 7 –Let the steaks rest for at least 5 minutes.
Step 8 –Serve with garlic butter.
