Ingredients
For the salad:
- 3 (5-ounce) cans tuna in water, drained
- 1 cup English cucumbers, quartered then sliced
- 1 avocado, peeled and seeded, diced
- 2 tablespoons red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped, plus more, to taste, for garnish
For the dressing:
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
Directions
Step 1 –In a large bowl, add the tuna, the cucumber, the avocado, the red onion, and 1/4 cup of the cilantro.
Step 2 –In a small bowl, add the lime juice, the olive oil, the chili powder, the cumin, the salt, and the pepper and whisk to combine.
Step 3 –Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and gently toss to coat.
Step 4 –Serve the salad immediately garnished with the extra cilantro.
