  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 2/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, halved


Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 3 –Prepare two separate mixing bowls.

Step 4 –In the first mixing bowl, combine the olive oil and the garlic.

Step 5 –In the second mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, the parmesan cheese, the basil, and the pepper.

Step 6 –Cover the chicken breasts with the garlic-oil mixture.

Step 7 –Coat the chicken halves with the breadcrumb mixture.

Step 8 –Place the chicken halves into the baking dish.

Step 9 –Sprinkle the remaining breadcrumbs over the chicken halves.

Step 10 –Bake until the chicken halves are cooked through at 165 degrees F, about 30 minutes.
