- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
Step 1 –Bring a large saucepan full of water to a boil.
Step 2 –Cook the beans in the water until they are crisp-tender, about 3-4 minutes.
Step 3 –Plunge the beans into an ice bath to stop the cooking process, then drain the green beans well.
Step 4 –Heat 1 tablespoon of the butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
