Ingredients
- 2 pounds sweet potatoes, peeled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- ketchup, optional, to taste, for serving
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 -Line an 18×26-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 3 -On a cutting board with a sharp knife, cut the sweet potatoes into 1/4×3-inch sticks.
Step 4 -In a large bowl, add the sweet potato sticks and the olive oil and toss to coat.
Step 5 -In a small bowl, add the garlic powder, the paprika, the salt, and the black pepper and stir to combine.
Step 6 -Add the seasoning mixture to the sweet potato sticks and toss to combine.
Step 7 -On the prepared baking sheet, in a single layer, evenly add the coated sweet potato sticks.
Step 8 -Bake until brown and crisp on the bottom, about 15 minutes.
Step 9 -With a spatula, flip the sweet potatoes and continue to bake them until the other side is crisp, about 10 minutes.
Step 10 -Serve hot with the ketchup.
