Blessing Bites

With premade pie crusts at your fingertips, you can easily add the savory Brie cheese, a little tart cranberry sauce, and some earthy thyme for a bite full of sweet satisfaction. Done in minutes, everyone will be clamoring over these beautiful Blessing Bites and thankful for the beginning of a wonderful meal. Ingredients

  • 2 refrigerated pie crusts, unrolled
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • ground black pepper, to taste
  • 12 ounces Brie cheese, sliced into 1-inch slices
  • 1/4 cup prepared cranberry sauce
  • 5 sprigs fresh thyme

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 3 –Using a 2-inch round cookie cutter, cut out about 42 circles of dough from the unrolled pie crusts and transfer the dough circles to the prepared baking sheets.

Step 4 –Brush the dough circles with the olive oil and season with the salt and the pepper.

Step 5 –Use a fork to poke holes in the dough circles several times.

Step 6 –Bake the dough circles until they are golden-brown and slightly puffed, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 7 –Top each of the pie crust circles with a slice of the Brie, a spoonful of the cranberry sauce, and some of the thyme leaves.
