Ingredients
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 pounds steak, such as rib-eye, top sirloin, or tri-tip, cubed
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- green onions, optional, to taste, chopped, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 –In a bowl with a lid, add the honey, the bourbon, the soy sauce, the Worcestershire sauce, the garlic, the salt, and the pepper and whisk to combine.
Step 2 –Add the steak cubes to the marinade.
Step 3 –Seal and shake the bowl and refrigerate it for at least 2 hours.
Step 4 –Heat a cast-iron pan over medium-high heat.
Step 5 –Add the oil and the butter to the hot pan and heat until the mixture begins to ripple.
Step 6 –Add the steak cubes in batches and cook until seared on all sides and the steak cubes reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F, about 4-5 minutes.
Step 7 –Transfer the steak cubes from the pan.
Step 8 –Pour the pan juice over the steak tips.
Step 9 –Serve garnished with the green onions.
