You’ll be indulging in a big cheesy bowl of perfectly seasoned, fluffy bowtie pasta and crispy broccoli florets in less than fifteen minutes! That’s right. In 15 whole minutes, you’ll be wining and dining, but rest assured, no formal wear is required. Ah, Bow Ties & Broccoli, what a simply scrumptious luxury!
Ingredients
- 12 ounces bow tie pasta
- 1 (16-ounce) package frozen broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons parmesan, grated
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- crushed red pepper flakes, optional, to taste
Directions
Step 1 -Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente, according to the package directions.
Step 2 -Add the broccoli to the boiling water, turn off the heat, and let it sit until the broccoli is tender and crisp, about 1-2 minutes.
Step 3 -Drain the water from the pasta and the broccoli.
Step 4 -Transfer the pasta-broccoli mixture into a bowl.
Step 5 -Add the butter to the pasta mixture and toss until the butter has melted and everything is coated.
Step 6 -Add the parmesan, the salt, the pepper, and the red pepper flakes and toss to coat.
Step 7 -Serve immediately.
