Brazilian Cheese Bread seems impossible for a few reasons. They’re impossibly good, with a stretchy, pillowy texture packed with your favorite cheese flavors. They’re impossibly easy to make, with just a few simple ingredients and a few steps. And they’re ready in under 30 minutes, which definitely seems impossible for how good they taste. Yet Brazilian Cheese Bread is very real and makes a very real (and very positive) impression on your Thanksgiving table!
Ingredients
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups tapioca flour
- 1/2 cup cheese, grated, of your preference
- 1 teaspoon salt, or more to taste
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 –Grease the wells of a muffin tin.
Step 3 –Put all of the ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth and thoroughly combined.
Step 4 –Pour the batter into the wells of a muffin tin, being careful to leave about 1/8 inch of space at the top.
Step 5 –Bake the batter until puffy and browned, for about 15-20 minutes.
Step 6 –Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
Step 7 –Serve warm!
