Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 9-inch refrigerated pie shell, unbaked

Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 –In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the flour and the brown sugar.
Step 3 –Stir the evaporated milk, the butter, the salt, and the vanilla into the flour-sugar mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil.
Step 4 –Pour the filling mixture into the pie shell.
Step 5 –Bake the pie for 5 minutes.
Step 6 –Reduce the heat to 350 degrees F.
Step 7 –Bake the pie for 25 minutes.
Step 8 –Slice and serve.
