Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 6 ears corn, husked and halved
- 1 cup milk
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Directions
Step 1 –Fill up a large pot with 4 cups of water.
Step 2 –Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat on the stove-top.
Step 3 –Add 1 stick of unsalted butter, 1 cup of milk, and 1 teaspoon kosher salt to the pot.
Step 4 –Cautiously add in the corn, being careful not to splash.
Step 5 –Then reduce to medium heat and boil for 8 minutes.
Step 6 –Using tongs, remove the corn from the butter bath.
Step 7 –Serve immediately! Any leftovers (if you are lucky enough to have any!) can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 4 days!
