Ingredients

  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • strawberries, to taste, for serving
  • shortbread cookies, to taste, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –In a bowl, add the ricotta cheese and the cream cheese, and use an electric hand mixer to beat until smooth.

Step 2 –Add the confectioners’ sugar and the vanilla to the ricotta mixture and stir until the sugar is completely incorporated.

Step 3 –Fold the chocolate chips into the ricotta mixture until well-blended.

Step 4 –Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place the dip in the refrigerator until chilled, for at least 10 minutes and up to overnight.

Step 5 –Serve the dip with the strawberries and the shortbread cookies.
