With Cheesy Chicken Fettuccine, you can get a classic Italian taste in no time! Ingredients

For the pasta:

  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 (4.5-ounce) jar mushrooms, drained and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken, cooked and cubed

For the topping:

  • 1/3 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a 9-inch square baking dish.

Step 3 –In a large pot of salted, boiling water, cook the fettuccine to al dente, according to the package directions. Drain and set it aside.

Step 4 –In a large pot over medium heat, add the cream of mushroom soup, the cream cheese, the mushrooms, the heavy whipping cream, 1/2 cup of the butter, and the garlic powder and stir to combine.

Step 5 –Add 3/4 cup of the parmesan cheese, the mozzarella cheese, and the Swiss cheese to the sauce mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until melted.

Step 6 –Add the chicken to the sauce mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until heated through.

Step 7 –Add the fettuccine to the chicken mixture and stir to combine.

Step 8 –Evenly add the fettuccine mixture to the prepared baking dish.

Step 9 –In a small bowl, add the breadcrumbs, the remaining melted butter, and the remaining parmesan cheese and stir to combine.

Step 11 –Cover the baking dish and bake, about 25 minutes.
