Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 pound Colby cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup ketchup
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 –In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, the milk, the breadcrumbs, the eggs, and the salt, and the pepper and mix gently by hand.
Step 3 –Fold the Colby cheese cubes into the turkey mixture.
Step 4 –Transfer the turkey mixture to a loaf pan and evenly top with the ketchup.
Step 5 –Place the loaf pan on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake the meatloaf until the center reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F, about 1 hour 25 minutes.
Step 6 –Slice and serve.
