Chocolate Protein Balls

Mom always taught us that sweet things weren’t technically snacks, and that they definitely wouldn’t fill us up. After years of searching, we finally found a sweet treat that does in fact satisfy our sweet tooth and our hunger, and it’s these Chocolate Protein Balls! These little spheres of chocolatey, peanut-buttery deliciousness chill in the fridge and wait for that midday craving for something sugary to hit you. They even give you a boost of protein to help you finish out your day strong. We can’t wait to show our mom these Chocolate Protein Balls! She won’t believe our discovery!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flax seeds
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate-flavored protein powder

Directions

Step 1 –In a large bowl, stir the oats, the peanut butter, the honey, the chocolate, the flax seeds, the chia seeds, and the protein powder together.

Step 2 –Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.

Step 3 –Scoop the oat mixture into tablespoon-sized balls.

Step 4 –Refrigerate the balls until ready to serve.

Step 5 –Serve.
