Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, plus more, to taste, for oiling the grill grates
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1/3 cup cilantro, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- lime wedges, optional, to taste, for serving
Directions
Step 1 –Add 3 tablespoons of the olive oil, the lime juice, the cilantro, the garlic, the sugar, the salt, and the pepper to a large, resealable plastic bag.
Step 2 –Place the chicken breasts in the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 8 hours.
Step 3 –Preheat the grill to medium heat, about 400 degrees F.
Step 4 –Using the extra oil, lightly oil the grill grates.
Step 5 –Place the chicken breasts on the grill and grill until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Step 6 –Transfer the chicken breasts from the grill and allow them to rest for 10 minutes.
Step 7 –Serve with the lime wedges.
