Ingredients
- 1 stick unsalted butter, cold and sliced thin, plus more, to taste, softened, for greasing the skillet
- 1 (12.4-ounce, 8-count) can refrigerated cinnamon rolls
- 1 (16-ounce) container cream cheese frosting, of your choice
- 1 (21-ounce) box cinnamon swirl crumb cake and muffin mix, such as Krusteaz®, mix and topping separated

Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 –Grease a cast-iron skillet with the extra butter.
Step 3 –Open the can of cinnamon rolls and press them into the bottom of the prepared skillet, creating a crust layer.
Step 4 –Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cinnamon roll crust.

Step 5 –Sprinkle the cake mix over the top of the cream cheese frosting.
Step 6 –Sprinkle the cake topping mix over the cake mix layer.
Step 7 –Spread the butter slices evenly over the top of the cake topping layer.
Step 8 –Bake until cooked through, about 35-45 minutes.
Step 9 –Serve warm.
