It’s impossible not to love Classic Green Bean Casserole. Seriously, has anyone ever not enjoyed this Thanksgiving favorite? Creamy, savory, crunchy, and fresh with mushroom soup and green beans, Classic Green Bean Casserole is a hot and filling partner to turkey and stuffing. With the extra satisfying crispness of crispy fried onions throughout, no one can put this dish down… not until they finish every bite!
Ingredients
- 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 (14.5-ounce) cans cut green beans, drained
- 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions, divided
Directions
Step 1 –Set your oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –Mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and pepper in a bowl until well combined. Set aside.
Step 3 –In a 1 1/2-quart baking dish, add the green beans and 2/3 cup of the crispy fried onions.
Step 4 –Pour the soup-milk mixture over the green beans and stir.
Step 5 –Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until the inside of the casserole is hot and bubbly.
Step 6 –Mix the green beans and then sprinkle the remaining crispy fried onions on top.
Step 7 –Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the onions turn golden brown.
Step 8 –Serve warm!
