  • 5 cups chicken breasts, cubed and cooked
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 (10.75-ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds, optional
  • 2 cups cooked rice, optional, for serving


Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Place the cooked chicken at the bottom of a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

Step 3 –In a medium bowl, stir the sour cream and soup together.

Step 4 –Pour the soup and cream mixture over the chicken.

Step 5 –In a separate bowl, stir the crushed crackers and melted butter.

Step 6 –Sprinkle the cracker mixture over the chicken.
