Perfectly seasoned and better than anything you’d call in to order, these Crispy Baked French Fries are just waiting to be dipped in your favorite sauce! Fresh fries from home are the best kind!

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes, washed and cut into French fries
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper or seasoned salt
  • fresh herbs, of your choice, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3 –In a large bowl, soak the cut potatoes in cold water, about 30 minutes.

Step 4 –Transfer the cut potatoes from the water and dry very well.

Step 5 –Place the cut potatoes in a large bowl and toss them in the oil and the lemon pepper.

Step 6 –Spread the seasoned cut potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking dish.

Step 7 –Bake the fries for 20 minutes.

Step 8 –Increase the temperature to 425 degrees F.

Step 9 –Bake the fries until they are golden, about 20-25 minutes.

Step 10 –Serve the French fries garnished with the fresh herbs.
