Ingredients

  • 4 medium baking potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3/4 pound ham, chopped
  • 2 green onions, sliced, plus more, to taste, for garnish
  • 1 (16-ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded, divided
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 3 –In a large bowl, stir together the potatoes, the broccoli, the ham, 2 of the sliced green onions, the sour cream, the cream of mushroom soup, 1 1/2 cups of the cheese, the water, the dill, the salt, and the pepper.

Step 4 –Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.

Step 5 –Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.

Step 6 –Uncover and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

Step 7 –Bake until the cheese has melted, about 15 minutes.

Step 8 –Let the casserole stand for 10 minutes.

Step 9 –Serve garnished with the extra green onions.
