Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- powdered sugar, optional, to taste, for topping

Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 -Line a 9×13-inch rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang, and lightly coat the parchment paper with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 3 -In a large bowl, add the flour, the salt, the baking powder, and the granulated sugar and whisk to combine
Step 4 -Add the milk, the vegetable oil, and the egg to the dry ingredients mixture and whisk until just combined. The batter should have some lumps.
Step 5 -Spread the batter mixture evenly over the prepared baking sheet.
Step 6 -Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the top of the batter.
Step 7 -Bake until the pancake springs back when touched and begins to turn golden in color, about 25-30 minutes.
Step 8 -Transfer the baking sheet from the oven and allow the pancake to cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
Step 9 -Using the parchment paper overhang, transfer the pancake from the dish and cut into squares.
Step 10 -Dust with the powdered sugar and serve.
