All you do is dump all the creamy, cheesy, tender, potato-y ingredients into a baking dish and voila! Bake and you’ve got yourself a perfect side dish for any meal. Ingredients
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (30-ounce) package frozen shredded hashbrown potatoes, thawed
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups cornflakes, crushed
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –Grease a 13×9-inch baking dish.
Step 3 –In a large bowl, mix the sour cream, the condensed soup, the salt, and the pepper together.
Step 4 –Stir the potatoes, the cheese, and the onion together.
Step 5 –Transfer the potato mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Step 6 –In a small bowl, mix the cornflakes and the butter together and sprinkle them over the potato mixture.
Step 7 –Bake the potato mixture, uncovered, until it is golden-brown, about 50 minutes-1 hour.
Step 8 –Serve.
