Tender, flaky tilapia fillets are swimming in a delicious garlic-lemon-caper sauce, then seasoned and baked to fish-loving perfection! So, cast your line out to a new way of eating. Ingredients
- 4 (6-ounce) tilapia fillets
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- lemon slices, optional, to taste, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 2 -In an ungreased 9×13-inch baking dish, add the tilapia fillets in a single layer.
Step 3 -In a small bowl, add the melted butter, the lemon juice, the garlic powder, and the salt and whisk to combine.
Step 4 -Pour the butter mixture over the tilapia fillets.
Step 5 -Sprinkle the capers, the oregano, and the paprika over the tilapia fillets.
Step 6 -Bake the tilapia fillets until they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F and just begin to easily flake with a fork, about 10-15 minutes.
Step 7 -Garnish the fillets with the lemon slices and serve.
