Easy Baked Honey Garlic Chicken is crunchy, flavorful, and so easy to make! These crispy, oven-baked chicken breasts are cooked to perfection then drizzled in the most amazing spicy and sweet garlic sauce. Serve this Easy Baked Honey Garlic Chicken over the top of a fresh salad or rice, or with a side of roasted veggies, homemade fries, or mac and cheese for a delicious meal!

For the chicken:

  • 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 3 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • sesame seeds, optional, for garnish
  • parsley, optional, chopped, for garnish

For the honey garlic sauce:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce, optional
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste


Step 1 –Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

Step 2 –Preheat the oven temperature to 375 degrees F.

Step 3 –Add the breadcrumbs to a shallow dish.

Step 4 –Add the beaten eggs to another shallow bowl or dish.

Step 5 –Season the eggs with the salt and pepper.

Step 6 –Form an assembly line by first dunking each piece of the chicken in the beaten egg mixture, then coating well with the breadcrumbs.

Step 7 –Place the breaded chicken on the prepared baking sheet and repeat the process with the remaining chicken pieces.

Step 8 –Bake in the oven until the chicken is golden and fully cooked through, about 165 degrees F when tested with a meat thermometer, about 20 minutes.

Step 9 –While the chicken is baking, add the honey, soy sauce, garlic, sriracha, salt, and pepper all to a small saucepan.

Step 10 –Bring the sauce mixture to a boil over medium heat.

Step 11 –Once the contents boil, lower the temperature to a simmer and cook for another 3 minutes, stirring every so often.

Step 12 –Once you have removed the chicken from the oven, pour the sauce over it and toss until all of the chicken pieces are well-coated.

Step 13 –Garnish with the sesame seeds and parsley and serve.
