Ingredients
- 1 (1-pound) salmon fillet
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 2 –Cut the salmon into 4 equal fillets.
Step 3 –Gently place the salmon fillets onto a foil-lined pan.
Step 4 –Season the salmon with the salt and the pepper.
Step 5 –Bake the salmon for 10 minutes.
Step 6 –Remove the salmon from the oven.
Step 7 –Preheat the broiler.
Step 8 –In a small saucepan over medium heat, mix the brown sugar, the Dijon mustard, the soy sauce, and the rice vinegar.
Step 9 –Bring the sauce mixture to a simmer.
Step 10 –Once heated, brush the sauce over the salmon fillets very gently.
Step 11 –Place the salmon fillets 6 inches from the heat source and broil until the fillets just begin to flake easily with a fork, about 1-2 minutes, and reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
