Ingredients
For the crust:
- 36 regular chocolate creme-filled sandwich cookies
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
For the first layer:
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cold milk
- 12 ounces imitation whipped topping, divided
For the second layer:
- 2 (3.9-ounce) packages chocolate instant pudding
- 3 1/4 cups cold milk
For the topping:
- mini chocolate chips, optional, to taste
- chocolate sandwich cookies, optional, to taste, crushed
Directions
Step 1 –In a food processor or a blender, blend 36 of the cookies into fine crumbs.
Step 2 –Add the melted butter to the crumbs and mix until it is combined.
Step 3 –Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
Step 4 –Allow the crust to firm up in the freezer or the fridge for 5 minutes.
Step 5 –In a medium bowl, whip the cream cheese until it is fluffy using an electric mixer.
Step 6 –Add the granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of the milk to the cream cheese and mix until it is combined.
Step 7 –Stir 1 cup of the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
Step 8 –Spread the cream cheese mixture lightly over the crust.
Step 9 –Place the baking dish in the fridge or freezer to firm, about 5-10 minutes.
Step 10 –In a separate bowl, whisk the pudding and the remaining cold milk together until it is thick.
Step 11 –Spread the thickened pudding over the top of the cream cheese layer.
Step 12 –Allow the pudding to set in the fridge, about 5-10 minutes.
Step 13 –Spread the remaining whipped topping on top of the pudding.
Step 14 –Sprinkle the top with the mini chocolate chips and the remaining crushed cookies.
Step 15 –Chill the chocolate lasagna in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
Step 16 –Slice and serve.
