Ingredients
- 10 cups turnip greens, washed and dried
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- pepper, to taste
Directions
Step 1 –In a large saucepan, add the turnip greens, the olive oil, the garlic, the water, and the salt and stir to combine.
Step 2 –Cover the saucepan and cook the turnip greens mixture over medium-low heat until the turnip greens are tender, about 40 minutes.
Step 3 –Season the turnip greens with the pepper.
Step 4 –Serve.
