  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 (5-6 ounce) salmon fillets
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • lemon wedges, to taste, for garnish
  • parsley, to taste, for garnish


Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –In an oven-safe skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it starts to foam.

Step 3 –Swirl the butter foam with a spoon until it dissipates and golden-brown bits form at the bottom of the skillet.

Step 4 –Reduce the heat to medium-low and stir the honey, the lemon juice, and the garlic into the butter mixture.

Step 5 –Pour 1/2 of the sauce into a small bowl and set aside.

Step 6 –Add the salmon to the skillet, skin-side down, and transfer the skillet to the oven.

Step 7 –Bake the salmon until its internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F, about 10 minutes.

Step 8 –Serve the salmon with the reserved sauce, the salt, the lemon wedges, and the parsley.
