Ingredients
- 3 cups corn kernels
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup milk
Directions
Step 1 –In a 10-inch skillet, add the corn, the salt, the pepper, the sugar, the butter, and the water and stir to combine.
Step 2 –Cover the skillet and simmer the corn mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
Step 3 –In a bowl, add the flour and the milk and mix until it is smooth.
Step 4 –Stir the slurry into the corn mixture.
Step 5 –Cook the skillet corn, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.
Step 6 –Serve.
