Ingredients

  • 1 (750 ml) bottle rosé
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 ounces strawberries, hulled and quartered
  • 2 1/2 ounces lemon juice
  • 1 cup ice

Directions

Step 1 –Pour the bottle of rosé into a 9×13-inch pan.

Step 2 –Freeze the pan for at least 6 hours, or until almost solid.

Step 3 –Combine the sugar and the water in a medium saucepan on the stove-top.

Step 4 –Bring the sugar water to a boil, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved and a simple syrup forms.

Step 5 –Add the strawberries to the syrup and remove the saucepan from the heat.

Step 6 –Let the strawberries sit for 30 minutes.

Step 7 –Strain the mixture through a fine strainer without pressing on the solids.

Step 8 –Cover and chill the strawberry syrup until cold.

Step 9 –Add the frozen rosé, the lemon juice, 3 1/2 ounces of the strawberry syrup, and 1 cup ice to the blender.

Step 10 –Purée the ingredients until smooth.

Step 11 –Freeze the mixture until the frosé is thickened, about 25-35 minutes.

Step 12 –Blend again until you achieve the desired slushy thickness.

Step 13 –Serve the frosé in the desired glasses!
