Ingredients
- 1 (18.25-ounce) box cake mix, flavor of your choice, chocolate preferred
- 1 (8-ounce) container Cool Whip
- 1 egg
- confectioners’ sugar, to taste
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –Line an 18×26-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 3 –In a large bowl, add the cake mix, the Cool Whip, and the egg and stir to combine.
Step 4 –By hand, form the dough mixture into even-size balls.
Step 5 –In a medium shallow bowl, add the confectioners’ sugar.
Step 6 –Roll each of the cookie balls in the confectioners’ sugar to completely cover them and place the coated cookie balls on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 7 –Bake in batches until just set, about 10-12 minutes.
Step 8 –Transfer the baking sheets to a wire rack and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet before removing, about 2-4 minutes.
Step 9 –Serve.
