There are rich dishes, and then there are extremely rich dishes, and then there are the truly decadent dishes. Garlic Butter Steak Bites fall into that last category, unsurprisingly. Fatty, juicy, tender steak is positively coated in a savory butter sauce with mellow garlic. Even saying “Garlic Butter Steak Bites” has the kind of depth of flavor to get bellies rumbling and lips smacking. Seeing it in front of you is a transcendent experience. Knowing you only need 15 minutes or less to make it is priceless.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 (1 1/2-pound) sirloin steak, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon parsley fresh, optional, chopped

Step 1 -Heat up the oil in a skillet over high heat.

Step 2 -Once the oil is shimmering, add in the steak pieces, making sure to season it heavily with the salt and the pepper.

Step 3 -Cook the steak pieces for about 2 minutes, continuing to stir and turn the steak until you reach your desired level of doneness, reaching 135 degrees F for medium rare. The steak will continue to cook after it has been removed from the heat for several minutes, so be careful not to overcook it.

Step 4 -Move the steak pieces to a plate and tent it with aluminum foil. Next, turn the heat to low and melt the butter in the same skillet.

Step 5 -Once the butter has melted, add the garlic and the red pepper flakes, and sauté until the garlic is fragrant and starts to brown, about 30 seconds, making sure to stir it constantly.
