Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 (15-ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (8-ounce) package egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 large white onion, diced
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions
Step 1 –Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2 –Cook and stir the ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 3 –Drain the grease from the skillet.
Step 4 –Mix the tomato sauce, the sugar, the garlic salt, and the salt into the ground beef.
Step 5 –Simmer until the flavors blend together, about 20 minutes.
Step 6 –Transfer the skillet from the heat and cover.
Step 7 –Allow the beef mixture to cool to room temperature.
Step 8 –Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
