Ingredients
- 2/3 cup instant rice
- 2 3/4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- cinnamon, to taste, for topping
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –Grease a 1-quart baking dish.
Step 3 –In the prepared dish, add the rice, the milk, the raisins, the sugar, the butter, the salt, the vanilla, and the nutmeg and stir to combine.
Step 4 –Bake the rice pudding in the oven for 15 minutes.
Step 5 –Stir the pudding, then bake for 45 minutes.
Step 6 –Transfer the pudding from the oven and stir.
Step 7 –Sprinkle the pudding with the cinnamon.
Step 8 –Serve.
