Guinness® Chocolate Cake

The old advertisements for Guinness® beer used to proclaim that it was a “lovely day for a Guinness.” Whether or not that is true, we can say one thing for certain: it’s a lovely day for a Guinness Chocolate Cake. The deep maltiness of the stout with the floral bittersweetness of chocolate makes for a match made in heaven that’s just heavenly on the tastebuds; the fact that the flavor comes packaged in a tender cake makes it all the sweeter (pun intended). On top is a frosting that resembles a head of foam and brings tanginess, creaminess, and luscious thickness. Guinness Chocolate Cake ensures that today is going to be lovely indeed!
