Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- sea salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoons butter, divided
- 1 tablespoon parmesan, grated
- 1 tablespoon cheddar, grated
- 1 tablespoon chives or parsley, chopped
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 thin ham slices, chopped
Directions
Step 1 –Gently mix together the eggs, the milk, the sea salt, and the pepper with a fork.
Step 2 –Melt 1 teaspoon of the butter in a medium pan on medium high heat on the stovetop.
Step 3 –Pour the egg mixture immediately into the hot pan and allow it to cook undisturbed.
Step 4 –When the underside of the omelet is golden-brown, reduce the heat to low.
Step 5 –Sprinkle the parmesan, the cheddar, the chives, and the tomato on the omelet and then add the ham on top.
Step 6 –Cook the omelet for 30 seconds.
Step 7 –Slide the omelet from the pan onto a plate, folding the omelet over itself.
Step 8 –Place the remaining butter on top of the omelet and serve.
