Ingredients
- 1 (16-ounce) package frozen corn kernels, rinsed
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
Directions
Step 1 –Place the corn in a stockpot or Dutch oven.
Step 2 –Heat the milk in a microwave for 25 seconds, then whisk in the cornstarch.
Step 3 –Stir the cornstarch mixture, the butter, the salt, the pepper, and the sugar into the corn.
Step 4 –Over medium heat, cook the corn mixture until it is heated through and the milk mixture has thickened, about 6-8 minutes.
Step 5 –Stir the parmesan cheese into the corn mixture until it has melted and coats the corn.
