Ingredients

  • 1 medium whole wheat pita bread
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • garlic salt or other seasonings, to taste

Editor’s Notes:

Don’t worry if they seem a little pliable when you take them out of the oven. They will crisp up in about 1 minute after coming out of the oven.

Directions

Step 1 –Set your oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Open the pita and separate it into two sides.

Step 3 –Cut each side into quarters and stack the quarters.

Step 4 –Cut each stack into 5 triangles, so that you have a total of 20 pieces.

Step 5 –Lay the pita triangles on a cooking sheet in a single layer.

Step 6 –Spray each triangle with oil oil cooking spray.

Step 7 –Sprinkle the garlic salt lightly on each triangle.

Step 8 –Place the baking sheet into the oven and bake until the edges of the pita chips are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
