We like to serve ’em over a steaming pile of rice to balance out the flavors, but you can do whatever you please! Ingredients
- 1 1/2-2 pounds chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 3 cloves garlic, smashed and chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup honey
- rice, optional, to taste, cooked and warm, for serving
Directions
Step 1 –Place the chicken thighs in a 4-quart slow cooker.
Step 2 –In a small bowl, combine the garlic, the dried basil, the soy sauce, the ketchup, and the honey.
Step 3 –Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken thighs.
Step 4 –Put the lid on the slow cooker and cook the chicken thighs on low heat until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, about 4-6 hours.
Step 5 –Serve the chicken thighs over the warm rice.
