- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, divided
- kosher salt, to taste

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
Step 1 –In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter.
Step 2 –Add the onions to the melted butter, reduce the heat to medium-low, and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are lightly caramelized, about 25-30 minutes. If the onions start to look dry or burnt, add the water.
Step 3 –In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with 1/2 of the beef base and 1/2 of the Worcestershire sauce.
Step 4 –Season the beef mixture with the salt and the pepper.
Step 5 –Add the beef mixture to the onions.
Step 6 –Increase the heat to medium-high and cook the beef mixture, breaking it up and mixing it into the onions, until browned.
Step 7 –Drain the excess grease from the beef mixture.
Step 8 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 9 –Lightly grease a large baking sheet.
Step 10 –Separate the tops from the bottoms of the slider buns.
Step 11 –Arrange the slider bun bottoms tightly on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 12 –Evenly distribute the beef mixture over the bottom buns.
Step 13 –Top the beef mixture with the cheese and cover with the top buns.
Step 14 –In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the remaining butter with the remaining beef base in the microwave.
Step 15 –Stir the remaining Worcestershire sauce into the butter mixture until it is well-combined.
Step 16 –Use a pastry brush to brush the butter mixture evenly over the top buns.
Step 17 –Sprinkle the buns with the sesame seeds, the thyme, the onion powder, and the garlic powder.
Step 18 –Bake the sliders until the cheese fully melts and the bun tops are lightly brown, about 20 minutes.
Step 19 –Serve.
