Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup kernels
  • salt, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -Melt the butter and the coconut oil in the instant pot using the “sauté” function.

Step 2 -Add the popcorn kernels and stir until the kernels are well-coated with the coconut oil-butter mixture.

Step 3 -Put the lid on the Instant Pot and set the valve to the venting position. It is crucial that the valve stays in the venting position.

Step 4 -Cook the kernels for 5 minutes using the “sauté” function.

Step 5 -Press the “cancel” button to turn the pressure cooker off.

Step 6 -Carefully remove the lid. A few of the kernels may still pop after the pressure cooker is turned off.

Step 7 -Transfer the popped corn into a bowl and season with the salt.

Step 8 -Serve.
