Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Gently stir the strawberries, the powdered sugar, the fresh lemon juice, and the kosher salt together in a large bowl.

Step 3 –Spoon the strawberry mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 4 –Roast the strawberry mixture, stirring after 15 minutes, until the strawberries are softened and the mixture is bubbly, about 25-30 minutes.

Step 5 –Transfer the strawberries from the oven and stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 6 –Let the strawberries sit for 30 minutes.
