Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound chicken breast
  • 1 large egg
  • salt, to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, plain
  • 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 2 tablespoons dipping sauce, optional, i.e honey mustard, ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, of your choice, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Boil the chicken breast for 20 minutes in water.

Step 3 –In a blender, blend together the cooked chicken breast, the egg, and the salt.

Step 4 –Pack small balls of the meat mixture into cookie-cutter shapes of your choice.

Step 5 –Roll the shaped chicken pieces in the breadcrumbs. Alternatively, form the meat mixture into small balls and roll them in the breadcrumbs; shapes are optional.

Step 6 –Place the shapes or balls onto a cookie sheet.

Step 7 –Drizzle the chicken tenders with the butter to make them crispier.

Step 8 –Bake until crispy, about 10 minutes. Flip halfway through if you want both sides crispy.

Step 9 –Remove the chicken from the oven.

Step 10 –Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
