Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 –Place the chicken breast on a clean surface and lightly cover in the olive oil.
Step 3 –Add the paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of the salt, the garlic powder, and the onion powder to a separate small bowl. Stir until the mixture is fully combined.
Step 4 –Liberally season both sides of the chicken with the seasoning mixture.
Step 5 –Using a large knife, make a horizontal cut 3/4 the way through the chicken breast.
Step 6 –Add the cream cheese, parmesan, mayonnaise, spinach, garlic, red pepper, and salt to taste in a small mixing bowl and stir to combine.
Step 7 –Stir for about 25-30 seconds or until the ingredients are properly combined.
Step 8 –Spoon the spinach mixture into the cut of each chicken breast evenly.
Step 9 –Place the chicken breasts in a greased baking sheet.
Step 10 –Bake, uncovered, until chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, about 25-30 minutes.
Step 11 –Serve hot.
