  • 3-4 chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup basil pesto
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved, for garnish
  • 4-6 basil leaves, chopped, for garnish


Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a large baking dish.

Step 3 –Mix the cream cheese and basil pesto.

Step 4 –Lay the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.

Step 5 –Evenly spread the pesto and cream cheese mixture over the top of the chicken.

Step 6 –Top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.

Step 7 –Bake on the center rack until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees F, about 30-45 minutes.

Step 8 –Serve topped with cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
