Ingredients

  • 4 cups potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (10-ounce) package frozen corn
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon onion, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
  • fresh parsley, optional, minced

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3 –Toss the potatoes with the butter and the salt.

Step 4 –Arrange the potato slices on the bottom and up the sides of the prepared baking dish.

Step 5 –Bake until the potatoes are almost tender, about 25-30 minutes.

Step 6 –In a large skillet, cook the beef over medium heat until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 7 –Drain the fat from the skillet.
